Top 6 Gender Reveal Party Ideas!
You may or may not have heard of the “gender reveal” trend, which has snowballed into the many ways parents can announce the gender of their baby in a fun and exciting way.
It’s becoming incredibly popular to make an event out of the occasion, so if this is up your alley, why not turn this special moment into a themed party with the big ‘reveal’ at the end.
We’ve rounded up our favourite gender reveal party ideas to give you some inspiration!
1. Gender Reveal Balloons
You can never go wrong with balloons. If you already know the gender, pack the box with either pink or blue balloons or have somebody else do it if you prefer to be surprised.
2. Gender Reveal Confetti Balloons
Alternatively, if you’re looking for a similar idea simply ask a clerk at a party supply store to fill a black balloon with pink or blue confetti (just ask your doctor to write it on a piece of paper to give to them!). The photos will look incredible, so make sure you have people snapping the reveal!
3. Gender Reveal Paint Fight
This one is for those that don’t mind getting a bit dirty and have an outdoor space to hold it. Have somebody that you don’t mind knowing the gender buy some paint (supply them with an envelope from your doctor). Then all you do is close your eyes and throw the paint at each other. You’ll find out the gender when you open your eyes and see what colour you’re covered in!
4. Gender Reveal Pinata
If you’re okay with a bit of mess, why not have a Piñata filled with blue or pink confetti, glitter and streamers. Simply buy a Piñata from your local party store and fill it with your choice of coloured treats or have somebody else fill it for you.
5. Gender Reveal Cookies
You’ve probably seen cakes and cupcakes, but have you seen gender reveal cookies! These are the bee's knees.
6. Gender Reveal Surprise Cake
You can either make this yourself, but then it wouldn’t be a surprise. We suggest you order one from a cake maker who makes gender reveal cakes. Once again, you would just supply them with the doctor's envelope.
Happy Gender Reveal party planning!
